Intercessory Prayer

The prayer and worship at RockHOP will be driven by our agreeing with God and disagreeing with the enemy.

Spiritual warfare operates through agreement with God’s heart and is manifested in various ways:

1. We worship in agreement with who God is. ("For the LORD your God is a merciful God;")

2. Intercessory prayer agreeing with what He promises to do. (For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.)

3. Repentance by coming into agreement with God’s heart for us (e.g. holiness & purity) and breaking agreement with darkness in our hearts. ("The time has come," He said. "The kingdom of God is near. Repent and believe the good news!")

4. Healing by agreeing with God’s heart for healing. (But He was pierced for our transgressions, He was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on Him, and by His wounds we are healed.)
